Proton pack – ELM Slurry pumps Series – EHR Slurry Pump
The universe Ghostbusters Proton Pack is a man-portable particle accelerator system used to create a charged particle beam – made up of protons – that is fired by proton gun (also referred to as the "wand neutrona"). It is described in the first film as a "positron collider", and presumably functions by colliding high-energy positrons to develop its proton beam. A positive electric charge beams of protons allows a ghostbuster to contain and hold "negatively charged ectoplasmic entities. This containment capability allows wielder sa position of a ghost on top of a trap to catch. Dr. Egon Spengler designed the pack, intending it for this purpose. A cut scene from "Ghostbusters" Egon showed plugging the pack into a wall outlet to recharge it, only to have the melt plug. [Citation needed] While the Ghostbusters' dialogue indicates that the accelerator system operates similar to a cyclotron (and in fact Dr. Peter Venkman refers to the proton pack with a scene of "unlicensed nuclear accelerators"), modern particle accelerators produce well collimated particle beams. This is far different from a proton beam from the Pack, which tends to undulate wildly (though it still remain within the general area where the user is aiming). The proton stream is quite destructive to physical objects, and can cause extensive damage property;. Ghostbusters game in 2009, Ray explains how the proton pack made early in the game the energy emitted by the proton Stream helps to dissipate PK phantom energy use to introduce themselves. Draining them of their energy CP weakens them, allowing them to be captured in their portable traps ghost. According to a line spoken by Egon sa Ghostbusters II, energy cells in each pack with a half-life of 5,000 years. Knobs on the main stock of the proton Pack can perform various functions to customize the proton stream, including adjustments for stream intensity, length, and degree of polarization. [Citation needed] In the series cartoon, The Real Ghostbusters, the maximum power setting for the proton pack is "500 000 MHz," which probably refers to the rate of positron collisions occurring within the pack's accelerator system. In the cartoon the pack also have a self-destruct mechanism capable of affecting at least a half-mile radius. The Real Ghostbusters proton packs also made the cells more efficient power, allowing them to run out of energy when appropriate for dramatic tension. Crossing the streams "There's something very important I forgot to tell you. Do not cross the streams would be bad Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in the body of explosive materials in the light. speed "Spengler gon proton crossing brook Crossing the streams is discouraged at first, as Egon believe that "total protonic reversal" occurs: this effect has been catastrophic results (see quote above). However, in a desperate effort to stop Gozer the Gozerian strong, Egon noted that the door to Gozer's temple "swings both ways" and that by crossing the streams, they may can create enough energy to close the door to Gozer and its control. As Peter points out, Egon said crossing the streams is "bad" but says Egon "There is definitely a very slim chance we survive." As the Ghostbusters cross the streams, the combination of that much energy closes the door to Gozer's size and severs its relationship to our world. The resulting blast destroys a good portion of the roof and blow up the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. As props in the real world The props representing the proton pack is made of the prop department of Columbia Pictures. They are made of shell molded fiberglass in aluminum backplates (or "motherboards") Surplus military frames bolted to Alice. The basic shape was sculpted from foam, later, a rubber mold is made of it, the fiberglass shell is pulled. The "wand" is a mechanism for extending the barrel and the electronics were quite advanced for the time being. They were then finished with various hyper-1960s resistors, pneumatic tools, hoses and ribbon cable, and hyper warning labels and custom metal fittings. The total weight of the props are said to be around £ 35. The "hero" props Change mess with flimsy foam rubber stunt pulls from the same mold. The proton packs have a lightbar with 15 blue lights on a scrolling box on the side of left and 4 red lights on the circular part "cyclotron" of the brace under that light up in rotation. The "wand" is also featured many features of the light; The most elaborate version had bargraphs fluorescent, incandescent bulbs, and strobing flashes tips for visual effects crew to synchronize the 'creek' to II. Some of the pack from Ghostbusters follow-up is used in Ghostbusters, the pack is partially redressed with a black crank knob and thinner ribbon cable. The angle guns, or "wand" mount changed to pitch forward slightly, to make the prop easier for artists to use. In addition to redressed props, one the original was hastily cast as a buck to produce basic lightweight "midgrade" props (as a solution to complaints by actors about weight of the original prop). These pieces featured midgrade many details on the cast as part of the mold, instead of separate fittings. The electronics and gear will also cut down greatly, reducing overall weight. The original props GB1 would appear in close-up, midgrade all other scenes, and new rubber "stunt" pack is made for when the actors need to take a fall. Many GB2 pack has surfaced for at least auctiont a rubber stunt, and one fiberglass midgrade prop. The auctioned prop midgrade lost shortly after the sale to a catastrophic airport baggage. The piece was documented before its loss, and revealed many of the poor class registration procedures used in its creation. All three variations of the GB2 pack is shown in various Planet Hollywood restaurants around the many U.S. movie prop replica community has sprung up about research and proton pack contains various methods and plans for constructing a replica proton pack. Early script description of the proton pack contained in each pack has two wands neutrona, strapped to the wrist, rather than one that held a fashion similar to an assault rifle. [Citation needed] Toys proton pack was previously made by Kenner and became available in toy stores. They consist of a hollow plastic pack and gun, with a yellow cylinder foam attached to the front of the gun that represents the beam.
