Why buy a real leather wedding album
When buying your wedding album, you have to make the choice whether to go for genuine leather or faux leather (not leatherette). The price difference can be substantial and you can ask yourself: "Is it worth it." The article It tries to provide answers.
The feeling
While optically faux leather looks very similar to genuine leather, the main difference is found the feel of the album when you hold it in your hands. A leather wedding album is just a better feel to it. Leather is a natural material and your Hand appreciate that. This is not to say that a faux leather wedding album does not feel nice, a real album leather wedding just feels nicer.
The smell
Believe it or not, a real album leather wedding smells better. Faux leather is fairly neutral about the smell, so when you give you with your wedding album a good sniff, you will notice the smell of glue and paper. A genuine leather album is a slightly more interesting whiff of animal skin. It adds to the slightly more special appeal of a genuine leather album wedding.
Weight
Real leather is heavier than faux leather. Your wedding album is more heavily dependent on whether genuine leather. The weight is important, because a heavy wedding album seems more precious and important as a matter than a light that's not to say the flimsy wedding album. The weight of your wedding album will however be increased by other means, for example on the force.
Appearance
As I wrote before, faux leather look almost the same number of real leather. Almost, but not quite! A genuine leather album marriage still look just a tiny bit nicer and more elegant.
In conclusion
In the end, it depends where your priorities pertains to your wedding album. If you want to have the best wedding album can possibly get, then go for genuine leather. If you want a beautiful wedding album on a limited budget, faux leather good enough. If you think that thick pages are more important than the cover, go for a faux leather wedding album with heavy pages. In general, I would say that the extra money for real leather is worth it. Still, a faux leather wedding album can perfectly suit your needs.
