Folding knife – Build Your Own Collection
There is something wonderful about making a folding knife collection. Folding knives are convenient. They do not require sheaths, you can take them anywhere and storage is easy. Folding knives are less intimidating and often cheaper than their brothers fixed blade. Due to the impact of 9 / 11 and airport security issues, bringing a knife in your luggage still draws less attention and suspicion than a fixed blade. Now, folders that offer more choice, and fill more niches than pocket knives first. As a result, there are more opportunities than ever before collection. So If you are considering starting a folding knife collection, there is no time like the present.
Folding Knife Collection Considerations
There are a number of considerations that lead to the creation of your knife collection. Does your interest lie in a particular brand a knife, say Buck, Case or other well-known manufacturer? Collectors build collections around the styles of knives, standard folders, assisted openers and multi-blade another class. Some are interested in specific types of knives designed for hunting, fishing, sporting activities, rescue operations, and tactical missions while others supreme piece of art is usually "pretty to use."

Many have newsletters and the regular members of the event plus the added advantage of networking with people skilled and experienced crafts collectors.
Becoming a skilled collector requires of interest, a willingness to learn and a desire to experience new things. Your ultimate destination is getting a folding knife collection you care for years to come. You want a collection you are proud to share with others .. In time you will accumulate not only folding knife but knowledge and great memories too.
